Currently, cytoreductive surgery is the most effective technology for the treatment of patients with disseminated forms of tumors of the abdominal cavity and pelvis. There is a steady interest in the development and improvement of this type of surgical interventions. The article presents the results of diaphragmatic peritonectomy using pneumodissection technology and its morphological justification. Histotopographic features of metastatic lesions of the diaphragmatic peritoneum and the possibility of using pneumodissection technology are analyzed.
