Brief summary

Malignant neoplasms of the biliopancreatoduodenal zone have a significant share in the structure of oncological morbidity. At the same time, 50-60% of tumors of the pancreatoduodenal region are represented by pancreatic cancer, which corresponds to 8-10% of all malignant tumors of the digestive organs. Currently, we have accumulated extensive experience in the surgical treatment of this category of patients, improving methods for the prevention of postoperative complications. The review presents the application of the principles of the fast-track protocol in the surgical treatment of malignant neoplasms of the biliopancreatoduodenal zone.

Key words

oncology, tumors of the pancreas, resection of the pancreas, browse the perioperative period.
