The influence of an electret coating on neogenesis in rat skin in case of sulphuric acid injury

Brief summary

Experimental research was conducted to determine the influence of electret coatings on skin healing process following sulphuric acid injury. It was shown that application of electret coatings contributes to amplification of proliferation process, protein synthesis in keratinocytes and fibroblasts and 7-day decrease of wound healing (from 25,6-0,48 to 18,4-0,28 days). The revealed acceleration of protein synthetic process is obviously realized through the activation of transcription factors of early response genes as a result of tissue redox state changing.
