Brief summary
The aim of this study was to study the quantitative and qualitative composition of the intestinal microflora of rats under a single external gamma irradiation against the background of the use of DAFS-25 and Monclavit-1 preparations. The absorbed dose of gamma radiation from 137Cs was 7,0 Gy at a radiation dose rate of 0,99 Gy/min. Identification with subsequent quantitative analysis of microorganisms was carried out according to generally accepted microbiological methods. It was found that a single intragastric administration of the DAFS-25 feed additive before irradiation and the Monclavit-1 preparation 12 hours after irradiation, followed by a tenfold administration, contributed to a decrease in the number of representatives of opportunistic microflora compared to animals in the control group. By the 30th day of the experiment, the number of fungi of the genus Candida against the background of the use of drugs decreased by 25,3% compared with animals in the control group. On the 12th day of observation, representatives of Proteus spp. were found in individuals of the control group, while against the background of the use of drugs, these microorganisms were not detected in any of the groups. At the same time, the number of lactobacilli increased by 17.8% compared with control animals. This effect is probably due to the bactericidal properties of Monclavit-1 and an increase in the level of nonspecific resistance when combined with DAFS-25.
