Brief summary

A clinical case of extracranial metastasis of gliosarcoma with lipomatous differentiation in a 53-year-old man is described. Initially, glioblastoma of the right parietal lobe was diagnosed, and surgical treatment was performed. After 4 months, a transformation into gliosarcoma was revealed, and a second operation was performed. Another 5 months later revealed multiple secondary changes in the lungs, liver, spleen, mediastinal lymphadenopathy, bilateral hydrothorax and destruction of the left VII rib. After another 2 weeks, the patient died of intoxication. Autopsy diagnosed gliosarcoma with multiple extracranial metastases. The article provides an analysis of literature data.

Key words
