Effect of L-arginine on blood circulation and the state of oxidative-antioxidative system of organism with infusion therapy in experimental hemorrhagic shock

Brief summary
On the model of hemorrhagic shock rabbits have investigated the possibility of correction of disorders of blood circulation of nitric oxide donor - L-arginine (200 mg/kg bolus), input in the composition of saline treatment (isotonic 0,9% solution of NaCl, 2x shed blood volume). It is suggested that infusion of L-arginine animals after hemorrhagic shock improve efficiency infusion therapy, restore systemic and microvascular hemodynamics and oxidative-antioxidative system. Treatment of nitric oxide synthesis regulator increases survival of animals to 100% after infusion of L-arginine (43% control).
