Analysis of the incidence of the most common indicators of nosological forms of chemical etiology of acute poisoning in the Ural Federal District

Brief summary
In the Urals Federal District in 2008-2012. 65183 registered cases of poisonings of chemical etiology. Analysis of the incidence according to nosological groups showed dominance in the structure of acute poisoning medicines (21765 cases, 36,7 %), ethyl alcohol and other alcohols (17793 cases, 30%), narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (8683 cases, 14,7 %) . The analysis showed a tendency to increase the incidence of severe chemical injury (2008 - 12,224 cases in 2012-13,405 cases). The leading place among the causes of death from acute poisoning take: Ethyl alcohol and other spirits , carbon monoxide, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Monitoring of possible poisoning in strict compliance with departmental regulations, which will further allow to develop a common concept of preventive measures on the territory of the Russian Federation and the Federal District
