Brief summary
In this research there are results of medical reports retrospective analysis of 605 patients that came to multisectoral maxillofacial hospital with acute odontogenic periostitis of maxilla and jaw by emergency or according to urgent indications in 2010-2011. The spread, main reasons of development, clinical aspects of predisposal factors influence upon pathogenesis of acute odontogenic periostitis of maxilla and jaw in different periods of adult ontogenesis according to the WHO age periodization are shown. The main risk factors are elicited in pathogenesis of odontogenic periostitis of maxilla and jaw within the group of elderly people.
