Brief summary
In patients with renal trauma, complicated with secondary bleeding, the optimal method of treatment is the selective embolization of bleeding segmental artery. This was verified in a 29 years old patient with severe damage of the single kidney, which has only 22 days after the injury developed hematuria is not amenable to conservative treatment. The patient performed selective angiography, during which revealed a bleeding segmental artery of the lower pole of the kidney. Bleeding vessel embolized, got а sustained hemostasis.
