Brief summary
Victims of Chernobyl radiation accident haematological analysis data was analyzed. Correlation between dose from external relatively uniform radiation and known haematological criteria: “peripheral blood lymphocyte concentration on 2nd, 3rd and 4th day”, and also their “3-7 day average value” and “500 neutrophile day”. For each criterion its statistical error was estimated on full dose range. The result of analysis shows that “3-7 day lymphocytes count average” has the most prognostic value, and later (after 8-21 days) - “500 neutrophile day” test.
